Dr. Oba was born and raised in San Jose. After finishing medical school in New York, Dr. Oba returned to California and completed his internal medicine residency at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center. He joined Samaritan Internal Medicine after Dr. Peter Knoll retired in 2000. He is married with one son and has two dogs. His hobbies include fishing, reading, watching movies and spending time with his family.
